Hygiene is an unincorporated town in rural Boulder county, Northeast of Boulder and west of Longmont. It is known mainly as a destination for bicyclists, and for the Pella Crossing open space.

Hygiene is also the home of Apple the Cow, who had her 15 minutes of fame on national media after chasing a bear from her apple tree.
